GoogleFight World Cup - Group B Results

This group was considered to be tough with two of the powerhouses of Europe up against the South American fourth-place qualifier and Trinidad and Tobago, qualifying for their first cup final.

England began well with a strong start against Paraguay in a result that would become even more significant at the end of the round. Sweden too began with a trouncing of lowly Trinidad and Tobago. The woes continued for the team from the Carribean as it was again thoroughly outclassed by the English in the very next game. Sweden and Paraguay fought a tough battle with the Swedish team victorious. Then came the surprise of the round with Sweden and England drawing. The end of the round saw a victory for the South Americans, their solitary one for the tournament.

At the end of the round both England and Sweden are on equal points but England goes through as the top qualifier on goal difference. Meanwhile the two American teams head home after a disappointing showing.
