It's insane. I noticed the same thing last year.
Of course the other thing you can find for sale at this time of year is calendars at 75% off. Why pay $20 or more when a week or two into the year they're all around $5?
Generally because all that's left are inane Cats-Wearing-Hats type of calendars?
i can beat the 5th jan, i've seen easter eggs on coles shelves day after boxing day!!!
ps. we dont start making hot cross buns til late feb early march! (Ming's Bakery Woodvale)
